Next Phase of Life

Time flies & before you know it, you will be leaving one phase of life for another phase. Rather you be a city slicker or a country boy, you must embrace the paths you travel. My COUNTRY BOY PATH led me to South Carolina State University and I met a CITY SLICKER in Wayne Montgomery.

Born and raised in Queens, NY, Wayne moved down south and graduated from Kingstree Senior High. We met as freshmen and were very cordial to each other while attending the greatest university on earth. Upon graduation, it was time to transition to our next phase of life. Wayne went on to a higher calling in law enforcement. After 24 years of excelling in the State of South Carolina, he is currently an Investigator in the Violent Crimes Unit for the Columbia Police Department. I am huge fan of show, The First 48 & I find Wayne’s job intriguing. I don’t want the job but I think it is cool to know someone who is in the profession. After chatting with Wayne, it is obvious he thinks it is cool too but doesn’t want to do it forever. He plans on hanging up the badge in 2022. But what next?

Well, Wayne has always been a fairly level headed guy. As we were taught at SCSU, an alternative plan is always a must. Montgomery plans to transition into Real Estate and own/operate a Private Investigation Firm. The guy is on another level and already has got the wheels turning with his Real Estate Business. Pleased is what we were, upon leaving our session. I am honored my college classmate called me to help reach the next phase of life, in style.
